Elipsis Gallery leaves Istanbul

After seven years, Elipsis Gallery’s Istanbul branch, which has grown to become the cultural destination for many photography lovers in the city, is closing to focus on other ventures and pursue new projects in London.
Elipsis gallery represented an excellent array of photography arists including Seza Bali, Tulu Bayar, Olaf Otto Becker, Michel Comte, David Drebin, Gilbert Garcin, Özant Kamacı, Michael Kenna, Ferit Kuyas Jose Maria Mellado, Isabel Munoz, Metehan Özcan, Civan Özkanoğlu, Yusuf Sevinçli, Karen Stuke, Serkan Taycan, Christopher Thomas and Michael Wolf.
An ellipsis is the three dots (…) that follow an incomplete statement. Sinem Yoruk, founder of Elipsis, chose the name to reflect her desire to leave visitors speechless. She did an amazing job and the parting of this gallery means a big loss for Istanbul.
Fine art printing lab 'Atelier Elipsis' Istanbul will continue its business as usual.
